Not really funny if you are from Cuba, the reason half of cuba is dark skin is because of slavery. Cuba was once indigenous before the Spaniards came and conquered. It then became a trading post for slavery bringing African Americans to the us for labor. The labor was also used in Cuba but the Spaniards didn’t take into account that so many would become Cuban themselves. It’s why you don’t see any dark skinned Cubans in politics or positions of power there and here.
