Apparently the commissioner is responsible for a great number of failures. The background check FDLE conducted failed to discover that the Governor’s pick for Broward Sheriff had a homicide in his background among other things. The governor should replace the commissioner with someone more qualified before things get even more out of hand. Ultimately, FDLE’s failures fall upon him.
