That's the best piece of advice I got from my sergeant when I first started work here. He advised me to "do your 8 and hit the gate" if you want a long career here. Ignore all the BS because it's all BS, get your paycheck and go home and don't take the job with you. Before you know it your 25 will be done and you can retire. Get out as fast as you can and don't look back. He was a wise man who gave me good advice. That advice is especially relevant today. Good luck to all.
