Does the Sheriff know (or care)?

So there was this press conference in which the Sheriff and a bunch of County people concerned about bars and restaurants being open and too many people being too close to each other... fair enough. Given this concern, he certainly must not be aware that Training has re-opened with dozens of deputies from all over the agency now being forced to sit literally elbow to elbow in sometimes small, cramped, poorly ventilated rooms for hours on end to have to listen to stuff that can wait for a vaccine to be available. The Agency has already had COVID spread problems. Will there be any surprise when a large chunk of the agency is taken down because bailiffs, detectives, patrol deputies, and SROs all sat together for several hours to then disperse back to their respective units the next day?

Sheriff, please put this stuff on hold for a while.... PLEASE

If you are SO concerned, wear a mask.

This is one of the dumbest things Gualtieri has ever done. Rather hypocritical of him considering all his hot air talk about wearing masks and social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID19.

Really? What about the executive staff who only passes the annual PAT and shooting qualification on paper year after year?

You people wud whine getting a full throat BJ form the hottest deputy in this place and tell her how she is doing it wrong. It’s not even full training and I went through it and everyone was separated. Wear a mask if it bothers you.

I already did but the more homely ones are much better. But that's another story which had nothing to do with this issue.
