    Lay offs coming very soon

Everyone that has been and continues to work during the Coronavirus pandemic, we say a sincere Thank You. Please relax. The largest group of non essential employees in this agency will soon find themselves out of a job. They have enjoyed getting paid more many many months now while they sit at home while the courthouse is closed. Command Staff meetings have taken place concerning the bailiffs basically being kept on the payroll unnecessarily. The decision to keep them on the payroll was made when everyone thought that the courthouse would reopen in a reasonable amount of time. It was certainly unforeseen that the courthouse would not reopen until next year sometime on or about April. The decision has been made in regards to the status of the Bailiffs Unit and the bailiffs will learn the fate of their positions very soon. As of right now since the courthouse would not reopen until at least April of next year the bailiffs have been classified as Non Essential Employees.

We have an unqualified guy here unjustly terminating cops and you are worried about a few bailiffs getting paid?? What the F is wrong with you? Deputies are scared to go above and beyond with the fear and intimidation of getting terminated.
