    The Undersheriff is working diligently on the pay study. You can't just implement something this big. That's why he's so integrally into the budget and making LCSO fiscally responsible so when he goes to the county he can show how responsible this sheriff has been compared to the wasteful others

    He’s an idea, problem solved; rather than trying to figure out each deputies salaries and how much they should be moved up, and doing this for each rank based on years in service with giving everyone different amounts of money... just bump everyone up 7k. Take how much you have moved up the starting pay (and no one else’s) which is 7k (on the low side) and move everyone else up. Stop wasting so much time individualizing each ones salary. Not rocket science. Compression pay problem solved idiots.

    The issue is because of the secret raises over the many years, salaries are all over the place. Its going to be embarrassing going before the commissioners asking for help when we have civilians making $100,000 plus for ordering uniforms and stuff. Its not something Carmine did, it was before his time, but it is an issue. You can just hand out raises across the board because it fixes nothing. We need to clean house. I never cared for Carmine one bit working here but he is correct when it comes to salaries being screwed up. Its a mess and will take years to fix. Image if someone did an Audit to see were the money is really going. Bottom line is, no matter who the boss is, they are going to do what ever they want with the budget as long as its legal.

    Arresting criminals was wasteful? Opening these community outreach centers isn't wasteful?

    The outreach center at Miromar Outlets was $5,000 a month in just rent alone. I could only imagine what the new ones that just opened are costing to include electric and operations cost, salaries for staff and mam power, equipment, furniture, the remodeling alone before opening and for what just for publicity. Such a wast, but every sheriff pics something to wast money into for their personal gain in some type of way so can't really blame him. But we have six with another two coming soon. Lehigh and Cape.

    Officer Kim Potter made a tragic mistake last week. She had 26 years on the job and lost her freedom, pension and family over an accident. The Chief had courage and passion to stand by her side and give up his career over her mistake. Her mistake was caused by tunnel vision. The same thing can happen to any one of us easily if we don't slow down and think. Carmine is a dirty politician and he has proven that. Do you think he would resign from Sheriff to support you if you did the same, nope he would sell you down the river. Point is we need to stand together and help each other. If you see your zone partner slipping stop them, work together. Screw the command staff and their lies. They would sell anyone out for a raise and promotion. Please stay safe out there brothers and sisters.

    Raises given on merit and earned. Technically the legality on a 119 related to fiscal issues compromises the integrity and overall structural security of an institution which is why it'll take years for those to be granted. And you get bet every legal objection and exception found across the country will be exercised by all legal means. See you in the courts
