I will caution anybody that desires to be promoted, you better be pretty squared away and well rounded. You can say what you want about Bob, but he has zero tolerance for incompetence and sub par abilities. You can't do anything about the political favoritism that happens around here, if Bob wants something done, your going to have to do it, whether you think its right or not. If you can't do this, turn down the promotion, loyalty is expected really from any boss or CEO.
Halle, Simovich and Steffen squared away?! The only things they know how to square away is their bank accounts. The rest of the old geezers know how to kiss the butts of those above them in order to get promoted and maintain their cushy jobs. That's how promotions are handed out based on politics not merit. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive or parrots the company line to make the process seem fair.
