    So, the legislature just announced that deep budget cuts are forthcoming. What exactly does an ABT agent or inspector do for a 40 hour work week?? The scam is about to be exposed!!

    However we also bring in a TON of revenue to the state so cuts will be slim here. You’ll see positions it being filled, consolidation of the smaller offices but you won’t see layoffs

    Quite honestly you can give up every current enforcement office and just lease a smaller space consisting of a conference room, supervisor office and and evidence room. We are totally capable of working remotely.

    We don't get to spend the money we bring in. That goes to general revenue. We are trust funded. Trust funds are routinely raided to pay for shortfalls in other budgets. With we got 25% of generated revenue, we would be the best funded agency in the country.
