    Does it really matter what your wearing to walk Into the local 7-11 or Olive Garden for the 50 seconds it takes to ask the employee where they buy their alcohol from and then ask them to sign the inspection record?

    Couple things.
    If that is your definition of an inspection, it doesn't matter what you wear. You will be unemployed soon.
    If you want to stay and be considered a professional, you need to dress like one. Call it what you like but a command appearance commands a level of respect and seriousness not available to those dressed in the same clothes you wash the car in.
