    The allowance of beards was a win-win. It is a huge morale booster and it cost no money.

    When you look like a bum you are treated as one.

    Facial hair isn’t a professional look that garners respect from the public.

    First we have tattoos full sleeved circus freaks now beards.

    Nobody irons uniforms or shines shoes anymore.

    “Full sleeved circus freaks”....wow.. Most of the people with tattoos are veterans. Some of those veterans have done more in a minimum of a 4 year enlistment than most people in this agency. It’s also funny because those veterans are the ones who are ironing their uniforms. They also are the most professional people out there. So your reasoning that tattoos or beards make you less of a cop shows you’re jealous of better people.
