    Bargaining Unit Members,

While we still await the final numbers for the Presidency, we do know the outcome of all of the elections in Miami-Dade County. While we did extremely well overall, we did not prevail in the Miami-Dade County Mayoral race. That said, we have historically had a very good relationship with Daniella Levine Cava, endorsing her when she ran against Linda Bell, and were instrumental in Daniella winning that race. Bell was no friend to law enforcement, and Daniella remembers our role in that race. While Daniella took a far different approach than we would have liked or expected when it came to recent national law enforcement issues, we have no doubt that we will be able to work with her, and better educate her about our issues so that we can have a positive relationship moving forward.

In every single other County Commission election, our endorsed candidates won, so we believe that the future for our members looks very promising.

We also made many endorsements in the municipal elections, and in Monroe County. In virtually every race we made an endorsement, our candidates also won. The same holds true for the state house and senate races, where statewide we had a great night which should pay dividends when the state legislative session comes around.

Our overall message of support for law enforcement resonated across the board, and we will continue to push that message, and fight for you as we move forward. Know that your PBA is here, and will remain standing shoulder to shoulder with you, no matter what the future may bring.

As always, the most important thing is to make it home at the end of your shift to see your family.

    Stay safe. Steadman Stahl

Be careful what you ask for

Steadman, so you are to blame for us even having Cava is what I got firm that message.
    Also, tell us something.
You endorsed McGhee, who won, but he wants major police reforms and reparations for blacks who we never enslaved.
You endorsed Higgins, who won, but it twice as liberal as Cava and as close to communism as one can get.
You endorsed Keon Hardemon, who won, but is as anti cop as they make them. Not to
Mention his family is all criminals (sort of like your family).
You endorsed Raquel Regalado, who won, over a law enforcement officer who would have been great for us.

So I wouldn’t tout this election as a victory. Just like so many other words and selfies that have come back to bite you, so will the aforementioned statement.

Step Stahl gave the PBA masks to the anti cop folks. He won’t admit it because that’s his personality. He won’t take responsibility for anything that blows up in his face but it was him.
