You guys dont need it etc. When an officer wants to transfer we get the spin of separate agency. When we say anything we are treated like stepchildren. It is unfair that we do not get the same benefits or funding when we are under the same PBA union contract. Is the safety and well being of the St Pete campus community less warranted than that of Tampa? Yawn transferred he did not apply. Funding of some of the unnecessary items you guys have can be diverted to our campus. 2 boats k9 etc ...not reallly needed. We could use that money and we are all happy. Stop being selfish .
We dont want to be adversarial but if the powers that be continue to demonstrate a lack of concern we will not fade away because you say so.

No St.Pete PD., transfers, doesn't work like that. You have to apply for the job and pass a more rigor's background. Like the one's we hire here. ST.Pete PD, will hire anyone with weak background checks. The last one we let transfer over to the Tampa campus left very soon and got a nice Fed job. He wasn't even picking and rolling boogers, he was busted child porn.

This place is so phony on positions, with the jobs and the positions here. They always said the retired Capt. would either stun you with his Brilliance with the computer and running stats or dazzle you with his BS. He always tried to play policeman and screw up your entire investigation, call, or case if he decided to get involved. He would go straight to the USF Admin and bragged about knowing all their names of the USF General Counsel and try to defeat your case and be a know it all. We Still have the other Capt., putting out monthly stats of those arrested by your agency in emails that everyone deletes as soon as they get it in their email. It's almost as bad as that guy in detectives that puts out daily stats of crimes committed in your area, most of witch are TPD crimes and we don't even deal with TPD and usually try to work with HCSO, even though we are in the TPD's area. How do I get this job? They get away with that their entire career, but in patrol you can't write a decent theft theft report and get by with it without it coming back to you for something.
