I heard that the SO refused to provide security for the Ivanka Trump rally at Benderson. Heard they tried to strong arm the Feds into paying special detail pay to provide security. Rumor is that Sarasota Police Dept. is working it. The park is outside of their jurisdiction. I guess we don't have an obligation to provide security for all of the Sarasota County citizens that want to attend the event.

Knight joined political forces with BLM/Antifa, and then he refused to provide security at a Trump rally in Sarasota County. That says it all. It is also a security knightmare. Thank gawd SPD is stepping in to fill Knight’s “judgement vacuum.”
