The PBA plays politics with our agency. Don’t get it twisted. They have never fought for any agents when needed. Make sure you get your correct size for those jackets down south. You might freeze in that 89 degree weather in Miami.

Look. When you are working 208 roadblocks for 12 hours a shift with the MOP idling to keep that A/C running at 60 degrees, you will want a heavy jacket too. It may be a cold front punching through WPB with lows in the 60's and you have to be prepared. If I ran this outfit I would remind all they get a clothing allowance. Buy your own jacket!

I would think the little man in west palm needs a lighter jacket when working off duty due to all those policy violation extra police lights he added to his car. You look like a tool!

Anyone else highly offended that the DD came out and said the reason for briefing and iPads is because we do not trust any of you at all and we will be tracking you via the iPad because we don’t trust your supervisors either.

At one point do we hit rock bottom?

While an app can be added eventually, no app exists to track DBPR iPads right now. So, they aren’t tracking anybody yet.

The managed location service feature on an existing DBPR iPad states the following:

Access to location and Internet activity

Your organization cannot access the location of your device without using a feature called Managed Lost Mode. When this mode is enabled, your device is first locked and only then can your device administrator see its location. If your administrator puts your device into Managed Lost Mode you will see a message on the lock screen. If your organization has requested the location of your device, a notification will remain on the lock screen until the device is unlocked by you. Your organization can’t see the location of your device without locking it and showing this notification to you.

Supervision can be used to configure your device to provide access to Wi-Fi networks, VPN servers, proxy servers and Internet content filters. These network settings have the ability to route your Internet activity through your organization’s networks where it can be secured and also possibly viewed by your administrator. To learn more about how your Internet activity is being used by your organization, ask your administrator.
