The Mayor has 24/7 officers at his home for security. Is he going to defund that detail also?? Members stop entertaining his threat and let’s move on. This is a Trump and Desantis State and there is no defunding of police in their vocabulary.

The Internal Affairs Bureau Major who was transferred out when allegedly participating in the motorcyclists death cover up, is now inspecting police vehicles for front windshield sunscreen limits. He never bothered inspecting the police vehicles for damages when contact with the motorcyclists was speculated. This gentleman is lucky criminal charges and termination package has not followed yet.

We are not asking for much. Just expected justice for both families who lost their loved ones allegedly in the hands of police inappropriately executing their performance and in their alleged cover up during its investigations.

Transfers to this assignment shall not be by being hand picked. It must go back to a selection process.

Equality for all employees is a must. We can’t continue to oversee injustice by certain individuals and then punish those less fortunate not in the friends and family plan. We must revamp this unit and hold those accountable for embarrassing our department during the motorcyclists crash investigation. Those guilty of culpable negligence and criminal hindering and obstruction shall be terminated. A write up and transfer of position is not enough when a death is involved. We have had officers arrested and fired for stealing a candy bar, for allegedly attempting to kick a subject, for allegedly being in possession of cocaine while off duty and inside a strip club, and another for allegedly driving drunk. All mentioned alleged crimes were taken seriously, except allegedly conspiring to cover up a death while on duty. City officials must re open this incident and hold those involved responsible. Biden 2020!

Definitely a serious matter which must be looked into. We must continue not to condone these types of behavior.

Don’t cause he was part of the media cover up pretending there weren’t any units in the immediate area. Lie lie!!! He retweeted the Rickenbacker zero tolerance Traffic enforcement operation a week before it took place.

The retired officer in question who was never questioned as a witness, has yet not been brought forward and properly questioned as an involved witness officer. Approximately twenty were questioned, except him. It is bothering and sickening to accept this, while others who become principals or witnesses in other incidents, are quickly asked for statements. We continue to demand transparency and equality for employees. Dear Chief, resolve this hurtful critical outcome before you exit the department.
