    Hiring standards at FHP? A written portion is non existent.. An oral board ? What is that in the world of FHP. Don’t speak English? No problem your hired!!

    Benefits... no step plan since the early 90s. Making troopers use the holiday bank before AL. Meanwhile AL caps out and if not used below the limit it’s pushed to your sick leave.

    If you have been around for more than 2 days you would’ve been around when a recruit shit a baby out in the academy bathroom back in 2017ish.. seriously ? Ya the real elite it was an embarrassment to the entire agency.

    Then hired a gang member that made it to FTO before the agency figured it out and fired him. Once again the real elite.

    We could go on for days about FHP and others. Point is every agency has its good and bad. At FHP your responsibility is crashes and that’s it. The reason behind the low pay and poor budget that will never change.
