Comp Time

Hello all. I'm thinking of trying to transfer to the Tampa area. I'm a cop in the NE. I work for a decent PD, but unfortunately the wife would make a lot more down there. One of my favorite things about my current job is the copious opportunity for comp time and ease of which to use it.

How are the opportunities to earn/use comp time there? Thanks

You can bank all of your court time etc but why would you. Between flex days floating holiday incentive days etc you can have more time off you could ever use.

Flex days are Extra days we get off every year by contract.
Incentive days are extra days we get off for master shooter safe driver etc.

We get all the days off that you can handle, Comp days should be the least of your worries.
