Sheriff Gualtieri named to Presidential Commission

The only Puzz is people that provide false information or refuse to acknowledge the truth. These people can’t imagine their own failures and lies. They exist in this administration and deflect their inactions or delegate their authority to others in order to insulate themselves from being responsible. I’ve heard the term plausible deniability used. It’s alive and well in this department. If Biden gets elected Bob will more than likely not be on the presidential commission. One less appointment gone south. To many employees have been denied promotions and transfers because of personal opinions by command staff of them and not work ethic. I guess command staff can randomly and without cause ruin or back door employees without being held responsible. DF and others were part of this practice.

The most disturbing thing about the Gualtieri administration is how many well deserving people don't get promoted because their spots go to the sheriff's or the chiefs' favorites. Many of these underserving people are incompetent and/or old so the succession chain is in bad need of repair. The day will come when the good people who have been left out get sick and tired of waiting and retire or leave. Then at the same time Gualtieri's old dinosaurs retire creating a huge leadership hole because there is nobody with the experience and competence to replace them. Politics before agency.

Maybe Gualtieri could pull a Charlie Crist and switch to Democrat. That way Biden can appoint him to something. He could be in charge of ballot counting accuracy and security.
