You are all pathetic and embarrassing. Stop embarrassing yourselves on this public website. Get over it already. USFSPPD isn’t going anywhere and neither is USF Tampa. They are both police forces that are required to exist in order to be in compliance with law and neither is any better than the other. Tampa is bigger and has a much higher call volume with more violent/felony crime. St. Pete is like working in a small sleepy town with not much to do. Tampa has more resources and better benefits because they use them.
There’s a very simple solution to all of your problems; find another job if you’re not happy with the one your in. Act like adults and do something other than typing up useless posts on this site that has never done anything for anyone. Be safe children.

We have felonies at St Pete. Problem is everything is passed on to SPPD. Or title 9 . Not allowed to work simple crashes, so everything looks perfect in the ivory tower. Easy to say we dont need equipment and training but the priority for an emergency operations room is paramount. Hostage situation

I hate to be an a**, but you said it. You don’t work the crimes, SPPD does. We work all of our own crimes. Robberies, rapes, deaths, domestics, you name it. That’s why we have what we have. Just come over here if you’re not happy. TPD, HCSO and many more are also hiring and they all have take home cars.
