The Secret Service doesn’t give two shiiits about you impounding one fake bill from the gas station. They aren’t taking the case unless you found the location/individual printing the money or you found $100,000+ in fake currency. They laugh every time a deputy calls them to report finding one bill. Our stupid policy should change to not call them under a large threshold. That’s just another policy of HCSO that is stupid and makes us look like idiots. Most agencies tell the complainants to bring the counterfeit bills to their office if there is no viable suspect lead to be impounded like prescription drugs under a master case. HCSO wouldn’t do that because it makes too much sense.

Honest manpower question here. I am hearing a lot of talk about resignations and retirements. I know a lot of it is just to stir things up and create more division, and some is legit.
How can I find a recent list of full retirements, resignations (red and green line), etc....? Is that a records request only, or available elsewhere?
I want facts, not rumors.

It's not just deputies who are fed up with Chad's bullsiht. 300-350 employees, again not just deputies, quit last month alone.

More BS
That is an completely fabricated number. That’s 10% (almost) of the entire agency. Do a public records request and post the results and then compare it with any other agency.
Of course, EVERYONE who quits does so because of Chad and not because of reaching retirement age or dealing with a society that bows to protestors.

Yup! A fact. Do you research. The bigger issue is why is nothing being done about it? We have been saying the same thing for years. They don't listen, so we leave.
You ever sit back and watch district admin on days where we are beyond slammed. They don’t know or even care. Supervisors too scared to complain and ask for help. Time for a massive walk out. I dream of that day. I carry so much resentment for how we are deployed and the amount of stress we take in. Watching masses and masses of deputies quit will give me peace. I would prefer the agency fix things. If they can’t hire enough deputies fast enough, they should at least learn to say no to other agencies and limit what we do for these learned helplessness people.
You want a starting point HCSO? Start with the calls for service SOP. Time to back off on all the garbage you expect us to do, plus with perfection, plus on body cam, and with less than minimal staffing.
