Not sure who the SSO jail union is with. Probably PBA?

Tom Knight craftily/politically broke the SSO law enforcement union a few years ago and it's been very bad since that happened.

A union has absolutely no legal or political power UNLESS ITS WRITTEN INTO A CONTRACT. Get things written down!!!!

After more than 30 years SPD went with I.U.P.A. because the PBA wasn't doing anything for them. We had a union and a contract but as others have stated we had too many backstabbers and arsekizzers who believed the lying knightmare and voted the union out. Too bad that the few guys who committed career suicide by organizing the union were only "rewarded" with their own "colleagues" backing the bus over them. There was a written contract in place but the morons that spearheaded the decertifying of the union were the only ones to benefit. Traffic got their $1,200 specialty pay for being DUI operators and AK (Car 1 1/2) got his stripes and then a butter bar. Meanwhile everyone else lost.

Pizzo was exonerated because he did nothing wrong. Pizzo is one of the best deputies to have as backup cause he is no nonsense and a good dude.
