Ok, so how do we train with the new firearms?
Also, before you go to the academy everyone has to be tested negative. And the numbers aren't going up. Some people have tested more than once and every time u test, it counts as another person. Troopers in my area tested positive and had mild symptoms. Unless u have a serious underlying condition, you have a higher chance of dying from the flu.

    How about this:
Let's stop everything. Work, school, church, etc. and we all stay home collecting a check from Uncle Sam.
    Would that make u happy?
Or u can just vote for Biden.

Is that why the recruit class got sent home? Because they all tested negative? It was the opposite, the whole class started testing positive while being there. Same for the firearms instructor course, nobody was tested prior to and everyone got sent home after someone was confirmed.

    Consideration.for others

It’s also about those who you could transmit it to. Parents, elderly, immune compromised...It’s not only about you but consideration of others. It’s not something to be taken lightly. Any and all training needs to be conducted with precautions in person, remotely, or deferred. Nothing is more important than the health of our own ranks and of those in our community. We have a duty to protect their health too.

Hiring had been stopped and vacant positions have cut due to the governor requiring a 8.5 percent budget cut for the fiscal shortfall that the state is in right now. Hiring will resume July 1 2021 if the budget conditions improve.

People whining in these posts must be Democrats. Training has been continuing with no issues from the Chinese virus. We all cannot hide in the basement like Joe
