The NBV police is summed up like this: We get paid maximum money, for doing bare minimum! This commission should be ashamed at the police budget and what it has ballooned to. The residents are looking at a city that is aesthetically disgusting and won’t survive the minimum needs without raising taxes in the next year. The only way to fix this place is to cut to the bone and place the funds we have to fixing the infrastructure. Only this city has had so many open lots on the water for so long due to money spent on the wrong agendas. Defund our police and outsource and save millions is the first step.
