Spite or spit? What we should do is hold personnel accountable by having a Code of Conduct, a Mission Statement, and comprehensive policies and procedures that applies to everyone. . This extends all the way up to the Chief of Police and all other command level personnel down to the newest rookie. The problem is that many departments will hire a Chief of Police and then not require this individual to take a psychological and/or a polygraph. The results in many cases are all too obvious as is the case in Opa-Locka.

Then the majority of the officers in Opa-Locka including Perez should not be in Law Enforcement. Killing 4 people on a chase as well as being arrested by MDPD for inpersonationing police officer should never have the badge.

Don't know who your next chief will be or who's calling the shots, but you guys definitely need a more capable PIO asap.

Does anyone know the departments where former Chief Dobson has applied for? Many of us would like to contact them so we can give them a glowing recommendation for our former chief!

Its a sure bet that he is scared to death of any agency that does a thorough BI, which includes a polygraph and a psychological. Isn't it time he pursued a new career field?
