He stated last night at a group meeting that he understands the employees have been unable to take family vacations and he does not want them to lose their time. Furthermore, he does not want them to feel forced to take family vacations, that might endanger their family’s health, in order not to lose the time. This is the leadership that has been missing from BSO for so “LONG”! Just another reason why Pollock has taken the lead in the Dem primary and will be the next Sheriff of Broward County!

Making feel good campaign promises that everyone will like is not what being a sheriff is. Pollock wouldn't know this, but when you are executive command level, and if you're truly leading, most of your decisions will piss some people off. This softball is nothing to applaud about and is precisely why people are leary of this guy. He's never made a big stakes stand alone decision and had to fight for it. And it doesn't look like he's about to start now.

Your belief that to be in executive command you must piss people off is why the last two sheriffs have failed and received votes of no confidence. Building relationships and trust with employees is what great leaders do. This is why Pollock and his administration will succeed where the last two have failed! Well we know win or lose Tony isn't doing sh!t for us. That was obvious within his first few months of being appointed. He hates the BSO employees because he's been called out on his BS! Pollock can say what he wants about our leave cap, but he knows even if he wins it will be too late to do anything about it. So it's kind of an empty promise.
