Define normalcy? Do you mean he will keep most of the current command staff, which he has already said, who by the way are part of the problem. Yes, we, the union, endorsed him, but now a lot of us don't like what we're hearing. Noting will change from Tony with Pollock in charge. That is why he's losing support. He should have been more prepared and not be so worried about keeping his friends in the current command staff. Don't shoot the messenger, just explaining what happened.

You’re not even a deputy. From where I sit Al is gaining support. By showing compassion for someone to keep their job is leadership. They can be controlled and do the right thing with real leadership. If they do not get with the program immediate termination. That incompetent idiot that was removed, fired people he didn’t know, and some weren’t deserving of that idiot’s hatred. He also hired and put into place a command staff that was worse. The previous sheriff was an incompetent, vindictive, easily manipulated moron. He had no leadership skills, made bad decisions and is a poor judge of character! In fact the only thing he did while at BSO was play games on his phone and cash that big check!

Pollock made a deal with Jeff Bell and Jeff talked everybody to support this liar. What a waste of time. He should have waited til after the primary to give endorsements. Pollock was embarrassing in every debate.

It was the safest of the 3. It was the membership who decided, not Bell. Go away PBA

Al, you want to be a Robin Hood and the candidate of peace. Well, Tony fired over 3 dozen people his first weeks. All politically driven. They lost pay, pensions, insurance and support for their families. They were hand picked and humiliated and the current command stood by and laughed. They weren't all new hires and certainly weren't all Israel hires. You and your folks already know that. If you are sincere about making things right around here, publicly state that you will personally review every political termination that Toney made. You would be quite surprised by the support you would receive. Your folks know who they are and how to contact them....

Al will do the right thing. He had already considered this. Unlike the disgraced ex Sheriff, Al has a plan for recovery.
