    Mookie

Can anyone tell me Mike Mercurio’s ID# ??
Any idea when he graduated the LE academy??
Anyone know if their are any employees still employed who attended the academy with him or the names of anyone in his class?? They used to have pictures of all the classes in the hallway at the Criminal Justice Academy but they are long gone.
    Thanks

    Public Records

His name is Michael Joseph Mercurio. In the old days, people called him "Mookie" (not sure why). His ID is 420. He is a very pleasant fellow to talk to, but many people say, "Don't trust him because he will lie to your face." His reputation preceded his "special promotion" into IA. He had to be "specially" promoted into IA because he was unable to pass a written promotional exam from deputy to sergeant. One year when he failed the test, he held up his paper and flew it around (like a flag). His grade was about a 49 (?) out of 100, which is an F. He was still promoted to sergeant. Welcome to the Sarasota Sheriff's Office.

... and was then promoted to lieutenant.

And his pension and D.R.O.P. money will be based on that lieutenant's income. Great place to work if you are an AK and play the game.

Thank you, so Goetluck and Richard may have been in his LE class at the academy?
I think their ID numbers are in the 400’s too. Anyone else left with ID’s in the low 400’s?
What about Chris Shaw? Same academy class as ********? Shaw’s ID#
I know he was there 18 years.

Didn't Chris Shaw die of brain cancer? Anyway, you can visit the academy at 4758 Beneva Road and you can look at all the plaques that are posted on the wall. The plaques have everyone's names listed on them (by year), so you will be able to determine who-graduated-with-who. Here are the two ID's that you asked for:

    • 446 GOETLUCK, JON ELON
    • 488 RICHARD, PAUL EDWARD

You can also go to the SSO records section and ask for a complete roster of SSO "names and ID numbers" and they will give it to you for less than a dollar. It is not exempt from Florida's public records laws.

Why are you looking for this information?

Thumbs up This is not kosher

It is very suspicious that at leoaffairs, Mike Meercurio's name is suddenly showing up as deleted stars: ********

    Why?

    • Is the mere mention of Mercurio's name holy -- and it cannot be lawfully uttered?
      .
    • Is Mercurio's name shielded from public records laws?
      .
    • Is he involved in some sort of top secret Federal or State investigation that lawfully prohibits his name from being mentioned on the internet in any lawful conversation or question? This is weird.

WORD TO THE WISE: Be honest and truthful in everything you write -- and everything should be kosher, right?

Amazing. It would have been nice if each plaque had been photographed and cataloged for historical purposes. However, it understandable that most people don't have those kinds of skills -- or time -- and who would archive it? Now all that history is gone forever.

Just like removing all the confederate statues. Wipe out all the history so when they say slavery occurred, they won't have any proof other than stories. Great idea to wipe out history ain't it?
