Mayor hides from it again.
Mayor stood in front of over 100 officers in that parking garage and green lighted a mural in support of the police. Now her office releases a press relief saying it was not permitted. Totally fails to mention she gave it the ok any if not finalized. Proof if any officer gets involved in a political adverse incident she will not support them. Last 3 mayors stood by us and did not cave to mobs, but the x Chief cowards to activist who make up less than 1/10th% of the city. She is pathetic.

The best part is that most of the activists do not even live in the city.

What a sell-out back-stabbing b***h. Don't depend on her to back you up because she will back up over you. We need a new GOP mayor and police chief.

The idiot thinks a small minority of police don't support her or the Chief. Well PBA how about a no name survey. Give it to us TODAY!! Let's see how we feel when we know we won't be screwed for giving our real opinion. My guess is 80-90 % disapprove of the Mayor. GET US A SURVEY!!!!

It's not a bad idea if you have realistic expectations. The same thing was tried in the late 80's when we had a far worse mayor. The survey was done, the tally was as expected but it resulted in no change. It wasn't until **** Greco came back as mayor before things moved in a positive direction. What was learned was politicians really do not care what their police officers think. They care about the voters that will keep them in office or move them to a higher office. Without the ability to strike, we are very limited in our ability to make an impact. It's good to get a gauge on the morale of the officers but if departments in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, Portland and Seattle could not effect change, what realistic hope do we have? All we can do is stand together despite some differences and watch out for each other.

Missed the point. The survey is to prove to the delusional Mayor that she may not be as loved and adored as she believes. I agree she & most political people don't care what cops think. The possible positive outcome would be the voters seeing that she is not the person they thought they were voting for. Even if 95% stated they don't support her the media would never run the story because they are "on her team". One thing is for sure we will never know until our union gets the ball rolling.
