When Sheriff Isreal comes back Colonel Don Maines will return and be in charge of the BSO Mounted Unit, a job that he is most suited for and he will do an excellent job at like he did before. Sheriff Tony fired Colonel Maines without due cause and BSO lost a very good Colonel. Colonel Don Maines was a great colonel and great to work for. BSO would be lucky to have him return. Colonel Don Maines Will be back.

Wasn't a great colonel. He was never a colonel. Actually was never sworn. "Colonel" was an honorary he gave himself. A civilian. That's all. And he's not coming back. Sold his house and moved out of south Florida.

Colonel Don Maines moved out of South Florida ? When did that happen. I thought that he owned a ranch down here. We really hope that he comes back to command the mounted unit. He was an excellent colonel and leader.
