Chief Acevedo please listen to our citizens and community leaders. Unfortunately Chief Colina did not and chose to resign and retire in lieu of listening and acting on behalf of our hurting community members. We will not tolerate for these internal affairs investigators to continue to perform shoddy investigations. These crash cover ups must stop now!!!!! The Rickenbacker crash death and Allapattah crash death will haunt the department for endless times. The power is in your hands. Media spotlight is what you enjoy most and you must back it up. A leader acts and is not just show. Act right and place an end to police corruption. The deputy chief and wife must depart. Their actions for years have brought our image and moral to the ground. They have cheated their ways up the ranks and have hurt others and prevented those to prosper fairly. They have illegally used steroids for years while harshly and unfairly punishing others for minute violations. We have faith and trust in you. If you are not committed to act right then please resign and go somewhere else. Mayor Suarez brought you here to get rid of the problematic Captain Ortiz who has embarrassed our department and caused millions of dollars in law suits and those other who have continued to mistreat our citizens. DOJ and FDLE are expecting for you to answer the call and protect our citizens. You are aware and now committed to act appropriately. Do not sell your self and look the other way. You are a true Cuban Mexican American who will not let us down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are extremely hurt and bothered by the outcome of this cover up investigation!!!!!!! What can we do???? Mayor Suarez and Chief Acevedo please do not continue to look the other way and fail to take corrective action. Chief Colina and Mayor Francis Suarez, you both have blood in your hands. You must ascertain and listen to what our citizens review panel discovered and determined. My cousin and brother died in that horrific event orchestrated by your organization. Internal Affairs and its high ranking members obstructed and hid information to deceive prosecutors and the public. We will not halt and we will continue to fight. BLM you will immediately listen too and comply too, well we brown people have rights too and justice will prevail. Chief Acevedo back the talk and television exposure with corrective actions. We will solicit assistance from federal agencies if the need arises. You have followers in Houston who have faith in you. Do not discourage our brown and black communities.

You lie you die is the chiefs motto. We will not Rest In Peace until corrective action is delivered. We community leaders and citizens of this city and tax payers kindly ask for your deliverance and attention to this crucial matter. We cannot continue to conduct shoddy investigations misleading innocent employees and our public. We must revamp the entire internal affairs bureau and place experienced and honest officers in these positions. We cannot have officers without street experience in these units who will follow malice supervisors and hide the truth to their likings. We desperately ask for accountability and public transparency. FDLE will continue to look into this alleged death cover up. Vast quantity of emails have been sent and received and our departments image must proudly shine in comparison to other large city departments. We will always be fair to all genders and ethnic groups and we will and shall start with equality to all persons engaged by our officers.

Citizens investigate Panel’s review of case and its findings have prompted a second and immediate thorough look into this alleged crash cover up by members of the internal affairs unit. None of the involved supervisors or investigators were ever reprimanded or demoted. Chief Acevedo and members of the panel will meet soon and immediate appropriate actions will be taken. The Rickenbacker Causeway death crash was allegedly prompted and caused by prohibited actions taken by members of this organization.
