Coral Springs taking over CCPD communications. Thanks Israel
So, the Coral Springs PD is taking away the BSO communications contract with Coconut PD. Way to go Scott Israel. Here’s why.
-Israel puts a union rep in charge of BSO communications in 2013, Lisa Sarazinski. Who spent more time under Steve Kinsey’s desk than doing her job.
-Then, Israel puts Bob Pusan’s in charge of Sarazinski, because she was screwing everything up. However, Pusan’s was screwing everything up on his end, and Israel had no place to put him. Pusan’s quietly retired two months after MSD. He was making 183,000. Not bad for screw-up. And what was one of the major problems at MSD, COMMUNICATIONS!!!!!! I’m so tired of people coming on here and defending this incompetent idiot. Lives were lost because of Scott Israel, period!!!!!!

You are a total idiot. You’re entitled to your opinion but not to your own facts. Communications had issues at MSD because of the radio towers in the system being overloaded. Not because who was in charge of it. Your tactic of blaming Israel for everything will backfire. People With common sense, other than the Parkland Parents, will see right through it.

It was a combination of both. Vazquez complained to Israel in 2016 about radio issues and poor leadership issues. Two mass shooting later the problem continues and the poor leadership is still here. Yes israel is to blame for all of the mess, when players on a team aren't doing good the owner fires the manager. 🚔🐀

pusins screw ups
pusins was in over his head. He was obsess with other things and neglected the radio issues totally, he was forgetful and maybe a little senile. Useless. Weirdo who thought he he was a genius, but was actually a screw up. He was not suited for the job...

Pusins
You’re all forgetting after the terrorist attack at the airport, all responsibilities except communications were taken away from Pusins. Pusins was to work out the problems with the county and fix it, But he was too busy getting drunk, chasing skirts and hobnobbing with the wealthy. So 13 months later we’re still at square one. He took whatever time he had coming to him and the MSD children and three adults lost their life. Again Scott’s responsibility because he loaded up BSO with all the crap from Fort Lauderdale. Scott should’ve been fired after the airport incident.

Israel?
I think Israel and Toney are both poser wannabes. Israel made bad political decisions and Toney is a murderer POS! But Cruz shot 18 kids in the first minute before anyone outside bldg 12 even knew there was a shooting taking place. He shot the remaining 16 in the next minute and a half. The 17 fatalities were almost instant. Cruz should not have been able to enter the school with a rifle. That is the issue. An issue that hasn’t really been corrected county wide. The best sheriff, radio systems, and training would not have changed that. The airport shooter shot everyone in just a few seconds. He laid down and was arrested seconds later. The radio system failure had no bearing on anyone’s death. The radio system is solely Broward County Government’s issue. It is not maintained or serviced by BSO. They just use the system. Sure the reactive response to both situations could have been organized better but so what. If 17 people are still dead, who cares if your command post was tight. How was any of that Israel’s fault.
