On Friday, the Florida Ethics Commission demonstrated that they are just a corrupt as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement when it comes to actually providing any serious investigation into the ethics violations of Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno. A secret meeting was held and even before the meeting began and any votes were cast, both the chief investigator and the attorney for Marceno knew the outcome and spoke about it in front of former Lee County Sheriff Rod Shoap, who they did not know was listening. Sheriff Shoap joins me for an exclusive interview you won't hear anywhere else on this breaking story. It appears that the corruption in Florida goes straight to the top, leading to the steps of Governor Ron DeSantis.

The fact that multiple questions have been raised about Carmines actions as sheriff should be alarming to anyone. Yes they have been “unfounded”, but the question should be why are these allegations even being made? I have not seen any other sheriff in this county with this many allegations against him or in any other county for that fact.
