Bay News 9 discussion on police and the community

Bob did a good job of systematically answering the topics brought up by a BF Stetson Professor and a BF rep from the NAACP. The topic of cops lying in court and the use of military equipment by the police was brought up by the Professor. Bob explained that the surplus military equipment was obtained for virtually no costs to the tax payer, and the equipment is only used in response to a incident, where protection or rescuing citizens and officers is needed, or when approaching a subject that is actively firing at citizens or the police. Regarding the lying in court.....the Professor had no specifics and Bob pressed her on it. The NAACP girl, barely could participate in the discussion and could only bring up generalities and could not support any of her concerns with any facts. Stuff like cops need more training, need more CPO's, more cultural diversity training. As always, nothing was said or brought up about what the black community could do to improve relationships. I wished the use of deadly force by the police under state law would have been discussed. Big misconception of the circumstances that allow the police to use deadly force, being armed is not a essential requirement. Also there are countless video's of OIS'S, some of which show subject being hit multiple times and still functioning. Also several video's of suspects pulling guns on officers after refusing to show their hands.........I have always thought that putting the public through shoot/dont shoot houses would demonstrate how quickly decisions have to be made, and sometimes they are wrong. Bob and other Leo leaders need to do more of this, helps seperate the rhetoric from the reality of why we do what we do.

The NAACP “girl”? Really?! Your racist and sexist soul is showing how you really hate anyone who isn’t a lily white male. Isn’t that right, David Duke?

Aweee. Did your woke mangina get hurt? That reference shows your age. Most people on this site have never heard of David Duke. And yes, they referred to the female as a girl. If that’s racist and sexist than your just a serious *****. I’m pretty sure the OP made a valid argument for their position. I say their because you have no clue if it was a man, woman, boy, girl, shemale or transvestite who posted it. Sounds like the NAACP and a left wing Stetson Professor with an agenda got schooled and it hurt your feelings. Well boo boo. **** your feelings you racist ass, yes you.

Bob is a master at public relations to protect his political career. Additionally he was matched against two novices with no understanding of law enforcement policies and procedures.

Think what was highlighted that when pressed on allegations of this and that......Bob could articulate.....the two other quests could only repeat narratives that they could not support factually. I also agree with on all these things.....no one representing the black community, ever thinks they have any responsibility to improve things.

The one is a law professor at Stetson. Pretty sure she is qualified to debate. Apparently without success.

Think negotiating with BLM or similar groups over their "demands" kinda shows the same things. Most, have no idea of what they are saying, cannot articulate their positions, and when pressed, have no intelligent response.
