    Does anyone know the status of the two officers from TGH? Are they still riding the desk?

    Chief said they are on the desk because of threats to their life. When ask if there would be an officer safety bulletin chief said it wasn’t that bad.

    Well that makes a lot of sense...Are those D3 SAC officers on the desk? Seems like they would be more in danger. Sounds like a BS excuse to me.

    It was such a threat they took the officers gun and badges. Dugan is a liar.

    So they are riding the desk for their safety, but yes like somebody else said their guns were taken away. Also they are losing money by not being able to work off-duty details and having to drive their own personal vehicles. What a joke?

    Where is our Union??????????

    When the times are tough, Our Union should be out front and center explaining how the rank and file have not given up on the citizens of Tampa. They should be all over the news and social media pushing how TPD is there to keep the citizens safe from the animals. The time to get the GOOD HARD WORKING citizens behind us is RIGHT ****ING NOW. Our PBA needs to WAKE THE **** UP NOW before we miss this opportunity.

    Dugan can't keep track of his own lies. If it is a safety issue then wouldn't it be useful if the officers know who these people are? What you really can't say is that you caved in to their demands and can't stand up for your officers.
