STATEMENT ON THE RESIGNATION AND CHARGES AGAINST COMMISSIONER ANDREANA JACKSON

Commissioner Andreana Jackson’s confession of criminality and resignation from her position as a Commissioner of North Bay Village are a shame for our city. We are working hard to restore the tarnished image of poor governance which she and her associates brought to the village pre-November 2018.

Obviously Commissioner Jackson, who fought our initiatives and attempts to make progress and create transparency from day one, was never on board.

Voters will have the chance in November to complete the transition to honest governance by electing additional trustworthy representatives who work for the good of the village and not themselves, as good public servants must.

Citizens, I urge you to pay close attention to those who are and were in league with the disgraced Commissioner Jackson, and consider carefully their messaging and agenda, which has began to come to light as elections near. Do not let them regain a foothold in our village.

Let’s learn from the mistakes of the past, which continue to haunt us, and choose wisely. Despite the sadness of these events, they do bring us closer to the transparent, well governed village we deserve.

Lying on voters registration, then lying to community about it, then suing for lawyers fees to cover the deceit? Phony charity using community resources? It is inevitable. That is the way that NBV works. The sad part is that Cherphony is not happy in mearly smearing people. He and others plot to get people they dont like arrested. They have connections in high places and at the Herald. I have seen far wose by Ms JS Pagent Queen than the MISTAKE made by Ms Jackson. It pays to know the right people!

What this commission needs to do is start reducing the budget starting with the police and their excesses. 88,000.00 a year for police secretary in such a small department and over 500,000.00 just in the salaries of the top four police employees! BL where are you?
