    Need real Union Leadership

Forget the letters. Take the gloves off and call the media. Courageous leaders take the fight to the media, call a press conference and get the members to show up in force.

Hahahahha....really tough guy? Let's think about how that press conference will play out since we are SOOOOO loved in the community right now. "Cry baby police officers, who still have jobs are butt hurt because the administration is taking steps to save money". Get your head out of your ass. Letters and legal action is how this has to play out. Press conferences only work, when the intended audience is willing to help you fight for your cause. The union leadership is doing its job. You, however, can call the media yourself and request a press conference or you can run for union president. We await your decision.

    Fake news

The fake news that the public is not behind us when the majority are. Every officer that’s on the street knows it because for every one that’s against us there’s 100 for us.

How does a press conference really play out? It plays out powerfully and favorably when a union president with some balls stands up for the rights of their members to have their contract honored and the health and welfare of their police officers respected. Without proper rest and stable working conditions officers lives are at dangerous risk.
In fact the ONLY thing corruption fears IS public exposure. That’s why they count on the unions to be silent and their members to be sheep.

You are full of it. The NYPD had their Union President give a passionate a.d driven press conference. How did that work out smart guy? Oh yeah...a billion dollar cut from their budget. Nice try

    Boot licker says what?

Bingo! The NYPD Union President tried! Yet here the MBPD Union President seems to have a back room unspoken agreement with management NOT to try!
Ask yourselves; when is the last time our Union went to the press about anything? It’s never going to happen with the self serving, boot lickers we have now. Almost all of them in special units afraid to speak up for the members or selling them out for their asshole buddies. Disgraceful.
