What happened this time? Did it involve another carny? Ugh zimmy. This place is the least consistent with IA’s I have ever seen so who knows. A since retired Sgt picking up “suspect bomb” when tpd on scene, then cursing out officers, leaving post ect and he’s told he’s been there 20 years won’t be fired and is demoted to spo to ride out last few months ..

Are you trying to say only senior officers should be supervisors? Zimmerman has been here for what almost 20 years and he is a terrible supervisor. Most of the brand new corporals are better. Heck there’s several officers who would be better and more knowledgeable. The guy has been wrote up numerous times for negligence, staying at his house on duty, and who knows what else. He makes terrible decisions and his entire squad hates him. He always complains about having every new person in the department on his squad but what he doesn’t realize is if he was liked and people thought he was a competent supervisor more senior people would bid to him.

How could anyone look at the historical records and think this is an isolated issue and not a behavioral problem? Nothing will change if nothing is done. What a horrible message to send to the troops. If you do a terrible job, great riches and rewards await you!

Most of the past leadership falls under this category of historical behavioral issues - unpunished. I’ve seen good ones get punished and bad ones get promoted too many times here. Rumblings are more people are leaving.. hard to call Ttpd a training ground (too easy working here) but it is definitely a revolving door.
