Its decent Lee County actually has a lot of opportunities like sro, detective, marine patrol, traffic, k9, aviation, lots of classes available. Also the above is not Jim Leavens thats just a political thing the current administration does. They think its a insult. Many didn’t buy their positions. They earned it by putting in the effort and had no friends or cheerleaders. Those that bought those positions shouldn’t be there and are undermining good folks trying to do their job but instead are thrown under the bus for not fitting into the click or making small petty mistakes. Any other time a small matter would be handled on a district or unit level but lately small incidents are getting the micro management treatment forcing morale to tank. No I’m not a Shrek fan. He is never going to be sheriff so why even bother. We are in a situation where the criminals are trying to actively murder us and this petty BS of screwing veteran deputies over with blown out of proportion investigations is more important? Give me an f’ing break!
