    Don’t waste your time

Don’t waste your time. The City doesn’t care about its cops here. Can’t even give decent raises. The PD will probably end up getting canned. It’s a shame, great PD.

It is not that the residents don't care. The problem is mismanagement of funds by the city. Taxes do not need to be raised. We need to cut expenses and renegotiate lavish salaries a few high ranking city employees make.

Nah. The city's taxes haven't been raised in forever, and still one of the lowest millage rates for any incorporated Pasco County city, with fire and police. And, the only reason the millage rate wasn't raised before is your former mayor wanted to look like a rock star to the citizens, meanwhile he was secretly attempting to give your city to the Marianos. The city's funds aren't "mismanaged" and a small handful of residents don't seem to understand that old saying 'you get what you pay for'. You're just used to spending virtually nothing on leaders and projects, and then complaining about the value of both. If you want that city to prosper, you're going to have to invest in it and it's leaders.

Wow. Sorry to hear this. Sounds like another classic case of not knowing what you have until it's gone. Stay safe, and hopefully things work out.
