So, if we only do report calls and we all know we always try and 34 09 most report calls. And Colina gets rid of PST so there are less arrests and faster response times. Wont it seem like crime is down? Fewer reports fewer arrests faster response times because PST will know be in Patrol.

My friend ,I was here when the mentality was to make arrest and only arrest , the reality is that you can't make your way thru arrest , they don't work , you could make a hundred arrest a day everyday and it won't work because they will be out faster than you get the tickler and only creates more hate in the community by destroying life with b.s. charges ,the reality that changed Miami in the upcoming neighborhood nowadays was not arrest but money simple and complicated money ,Investors and builders that build high rises ,open businesses ,push the hoodlums away , look at upper east side used to be a dump or wynwood ,who in the right mind will have dinner there twenty years ago and because money that transform the place is what it is now

Homeless is still a problem not solved. No matter how much money you throw at it, they don't want to stay indoors.
Figure this out or the budget $moves to social services out of mpd budget
This is how NYC and other pd's are thinking.
It's not a long term solution unless you give homeless a job and hobbies to get them off the lingering streets.
They want to porch and money to solve these solutions has to come from somewhere.

You guys see these everyday and do nothing about a solution bc there is no call . Yet you see the problem exist.

So you better come up with a solution fast bc the money will be taken from your pocket to theirs.

    Be smart. Think smart.

It's not the police officers job to make policy you say?
Well you are in the fronts lines and are in the BEST position to set policy, in fact, your leadership isn't doing a damn thing about it and your salaries will be the ones cut!

All in saying is figure each one of these problems you see with a solution.

You know why Israelis were historically disliked? Learn from that...they figured out a way to keep things amongst themselves. Solution solvers bc they had front line knowledge and offered solutions to problems

In other words they didn't stand around looking stupid and asking what can we do?

The same "leaders" taking a knee but demand that you don't exercise discretion and auto arrest for petty misdemeanors like driving with a susp. License, poss of marijuana, trespass, retail theft etc.
