    Qualified Immunity

If it is terminated in Florida like in Colorado good luck to all. You can be sued by everyone for everything. If it happens here I will resign. It's just not worth it.

If they remove immunity, they should also remove duty to act and if that’s the case no need for sworn members

If politicians choose to eliminate qualified immunity, then it should be lost for them too (and not just lost for LEOs).

The PCSO is about to have its ranks cut down by about 20%-25%, so it really doesn't matter.

Maybe in Seattle, Minneapolis or Chicago but not in Pinellas County. We have not reached that level of socialist insanity here.

If you act within policy you are immune. When you act outside of policy you are personally liable. So if you use u justified force you are screwed anyway. Qualified immunity is for when you were justified and get sued.
