My man, leaving HPD is the best thing ever. And for the feds even better. Once you reach GS-13, with LEAP pay, you will be making more than Sergio. So jump if you do have a higher education degree; the higher the better to get in. Most people in the federal gov has a Master Degree as a minimum, the majority having JDs and PhDs. So good luck.
