Understood. One of main objectives is to get away from the failed city of Hallandale and the failing leadership.

With law enforcement, the district command and downtown commands still bend over backwards to try and please local politicians. Here's an example, a Pompano city commissioner complained that people on here block were having a party and loud music past curfew. Deputies were forced to go make contact and told to issue citations for a ordinance violation. Deputies used discretion and did not issue citations. That same commissioner asked for the results and action take for said complaint. Commissioner threw a fit when she found out no citations were issued. Deputies were given a verbal reprimand.

Another example. Former Lauderdale Lakes city commissioner hates LE. Throws a large block party, causing streets to be blocked. Neighbors complain, deputies attempt to talk to city commissioner, she tells them to go F themselves and doesn't shut the party down nor does she move the cars. Deputies tuck their tails and leave the scene. Same commissioner has filed numerous complaints against Deputies that were just doing their job. Yet, this same commissioner calls command and needs something enforced, everything else immediately gets put on hold so her complaint can be resolved.

Again, I hope you guys come over. I think it will be better for you. At least then you can transfer out of Hallandale to another BSO district if you wish, get a change of scenery. But don't tell me how much influence a city has in a district if you've never worked for a county.
Hallandale will never give up their Pd. Too stupid to realize the benefits of getting out of a business they have no clue how to run.

We hope to be there soon.

Your agency won't come to bso. All talk. If you did, it would immediately allow everyone in Hallandale to put a transfer to any bso district or specialized unit.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but its not that easy to transfer to from one district to another district within BSO. Say Hallandale comes over to BSO. You want to transfer to Dania Beach. Both districts have to approve the transfer. 90% of the time your home district, Hallandale in this case, will ask for a body from Dania Beach. Say Dania offers them a body, Hallandale can say no, they don't want that specific body. Same goes if you're trying to transfer to a specialized unit in another district. The only time your home district can't hold you back is if you get a countywide spot.

Easiest way to transfer is if you can find someone to do a mutual swap with you. Say you meet someone in Pompano that wants to come to Hallandale and you want to go to Pompano. You guys fill out the paperwork, both districts agree, and you're on your way to Pompano!

Chief Tom Hunker is all you guys need here in Hallandale. Hunker would be the best thing that could happen to HPD. 10 times better than BSO.
