Jailer has COVID19
One of the turnkeys tested positive for COVID19.
This happened after every Deputy on every shift in the building, was ordered to try on the same five shirts for the new Jailer uniform.
Curious to find out if he's using his own sick time or if it will be a workers compensation issue!

You missed a few
6 individuals tested positive including a nurse, a clerk, and a sergeant. You won’t hear about it though because according the the white shirts, there have been no cases of covid in the jail.

You will know about it when the law suits start and they fire those Deputies for fabricated reasons to avoid paying comp.

According to the stats, 1 out of 7 people have it in Lee County. Which means we have already had it or will get it real soon!

Oh, well if it’s law then hell it must be true. It’s kind of like Chicago’s no-gun laws that are followed too.
Ask any decent deputy who worked for LCSO and was injured in the line of duty how they were treated by workman’s comp. The original poster was spot on. Once you are hurt, you are nothing more than a liability to the agency. That’s when the terror begins and they work to run you out. It will be no different if you are infected by COVID-19. It doesn’t matter what a law says. You will get treatment, but it will be from crappy low bidder doctors. After that, Admin will do it’s best to make sure you are out the door one way or the other.

Not workman’s comp, but you can expect the same or worse treatment from LCSO’s WC carrier.
