    A simple question

    At my local community college the difference between the CO and the CPO academies is like 29 Hours. Therefore my question is : Do CPO get certified as CO's as well ? ( That would be easy for when I decide to crossover to Police/ Sheriff office?)

    No, neither will get you any closer to crossing-over to Police/Sheriff. Furthermore, as of July 1st there will no longer be any cross-over. All Police/Sheriff's Offices will now require every cadet to fully attend the academy again. This swift change resulted from the George Floyd and other recent incidents of police brutality that have made headlines and sparked widespread public demonstrations.
