We are going to be in the red by October under Noriega as police Chief. There is an officer sitting in a school with no kids, not working the road. A boat boy spending gas and gas and gas for what?, two lieutenants that do nothing all day and wouldn’t know how to write a report if you asked them to. You have four detectives doing nothing, two command staff doing nothing and a secretary making 90,000 a year, and all have take home cars with gas for a mile wide Village that is over 6 million a year and will be 7 million, then 8 million by 2022. Plus the police are due a contract now for another 500,000 minimum a year. At least we have an over abundance of pretty police cars and truck and boats and motorcycle and new rifles and new uniforms and and and and!!!!!

Cancel the take-home cars, put the cops back on 8 hour shift to prevent overtime and time accruals, sell the motorcycle, sell the boat. Make all the part time cops cover shifts like every other department. We don’t need all these cops here, the police budget needs to be cut in order to spend money fixing this city.

The problem is not the the officer’s pay, it’s above the Sgt’s. Even to some extent, the LT’s aren’t the problem. There needs to be a Sgt per shift, Cpl position is worthless. The officers should be well equipped and support should start at their level because when you call the police department an officer responds, whether 3 pm or 3 am. Not Noriega or Sam, or the detached detective who is NOT bringing in money as he is supposed to do. Noriega gives him free reign because he’s the union president. Noriega knows he lost the troops a long time ago. If he loses the FOP, he’s gone. He may be gone anyway. The part time guys, well Pryor on the boat for sure keep home here, but the law school guy.... he’s not really available much but. He doesn’t cost much. Get him out of here. He causes more harm than good. Say no to accreditation, it is totally worthless. It’s expensive and really does nothing to help officers to serve the public. Don’t be fooled by the BS. No need for an accreditation manager. Give that job to the Detective Lt. Continue to let Brian dump everything on the police academy reject Anthony because he’s the only person in Nbvpd history who didn’t make it on the FTO program. More to come. Start using the Lt.s on the road to help with OT get rid of the Asst. Chief, Fire Noriega for bloating the budget over the years, bring back the detached detective and put on the road, only one detective is needed if he or she needs help for the day use the part time detective. No more school cop by us, Miami-Dade schools has the budget for an Officer at TIES, it's their job and problem to fill we don't have that luxury anymore. Hire reserves it cost effective. Do this or go to Miami Beach for patrol of NBV for only 3 million a year instead of 6 or 7 million now.
