Every violation of the law is a case by case moron. That’s not what we’re talking about here. We’re talking about the same exact violation i.e. (filing a false affidavit under oath) being applied unequally under the law. You can’t fire/arrest one guy and give a free pass to another guy just because the Governor appointed him.
