Actually as it relates to the investigation it changes things because initially Tony tried to imply he didn’t understand the question about his criminal past.
But when you see the questions he was asked on his stress test it paints a very clear picture that he lied and fraudulently obtained his position as a police officer and Sheriff. He also committed many acts of perjury.

I understand but the Coral Springs lies can not be held against him, the lie detector test just confirms he lied.
