Yes, it's bad when Opa-locka looks better than BSO. So a special thanks goes out to the BSO Leadership for that special title. We greatly appreciate the efforts you have taken to destroy this agency. You had one job to do, show improvement from the last administration, and you couldn't even do that right!

First of all whether you support Israel or Pollack you are getting a lackluster candidate. Both have non distinguished careers at least administratively. Israel provided generously for himself and his friends.
Pollack will provide generously for himself and his friends and family.

BSO is a tough place for any newcomer to take on. The number and complexities of what needs to be done is an overwhelming task for the best of leaders. Morale stinks, motivation will take a miracle, law enforcements overall report card from the public is less than stellar. For too long the focus has been geared towards political goals rather than public safety. Communications is a shambles with the county too involved and the law enforcement presence inadequate.

In the cesspool of Broward County Democratic politics with the County Mayor and Municipal leaders backing Tony the fraud who is going to come forward??? The other candidates are weak, unknown or both. The other BSO hopefuls are former Sgts who will fair no better administratively than the current Sgt/Sheriff.

At this juncture Pollack is the lesser of the evils, but he will only have a chance if he brings in the very best to command and keep him centered on being the face rather than the heart of BSO

That it's 2020 and about time we had a real Sheriff, who kills a person in anger, a criminal drug user
confirmed psychopath , that does NOT call the
Police, flees the scene and ditches the gun, CHANGED his NAME, lies about self defense, then hides the crime for 27 years?

The good politician who CAN'T control his anger and uses a six year olds logic , "well my non - arrest for homicide and $15,000 bail never came up in any job interviews " , to explain with double speak, why he's not really a CONMAN, except that he is.

It actually pisses me off every time I here or see comments to hurt Whatley, Vasquez or Jones. True they are not popular and have no name recognition, but they are running for the right reasons. I will say it again, Pollack or Israel are not the answer. Wake up!
