    Question about expedited academy

    Hello, I am an out-of-state police officer with five years on the job. Aside from all the BS, I really want to apply for the FHP. However can anybody give me any insight on the expedient Academy option. Does this apply to out of state officers?

    You can go through the process of getting your out of state cert converted to a Florida cert. Go to the FDLE website for information on how to do that.

    So as long as you take the equivalency course, and become FL certified. You would qualify for the quicker academy?

    Take about 2.5 weeks of vacation time and come down to Florida to get EOT certified:
